Scientific auspices
The ISISC, being an independent juridical entity, is placed under the scientific auspices of the International Association of Penal Law (AIDP/IAPL).
Board of Directors
The governing body of the Institute is an independent 25-member Board of Directors, 16 of whom are elected by the Conseil de Direction of the AIDP/IAPL from internationally renowned scholars and experts, and 9 ex-officio members.
Presidency
Professor M.Cherif Bassiouni, Honorary President of the International Association of Penal Law is currently the ISISC’s President
