Siracusa Prize 2009
The International Association of Penal Law together with the International Institute of Higher Studies in Criminal Sciences (ISISC) have established the “Siracusa Prize”.
The Siracusa Prize shall be awarded on the occasion
- of each International Congress of Penal Law and
- of each World Conference of Penal Law
organised by the International Association of Penal Law (AIDP-IAPL).
It shall be granted for the work of a Young Penalist, member of the AIDP-IAPL, which constitutes an original contribution of great scientific value in penal law and which has been published the first time within the last 5 years.
Dr. Michiel Luchtman has obtained the Syracuse Prize 2009 with his work
European cooperation between financial supervisory authorities, tax authorities and judicial authorities
