Eugenio Raúl Zaffaroni - Richter am Interamerikanischen Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte

The Vice-President of the International Association of Penal Law, Eugenio Raúl Zaffaroni took oath on February 15th, 2016 as a judge at the Interamerican Court of Human Rights at the official opening  of the Interamerican judicial year in San José, Costa Rica. Previously, Eugenio Raúl Zaffaroni was a judge at the Supreme Court of Argentina and he is an internationally recognized jurist, he is also Executive secretary of the Latin American Association of Criminal Law and Criminology, he was awarded the Stockolm Prize of Criminology in 2009, he is Emeritus Professor at the University of Buenos Aires and holds honorary degrees from well-known Latin American and European Universities.
