AIDP | Association Internationale De Droit Pénal

Madame Christiane Taubira, Garde des Sceaux, Ministre de la justice du gouvernement français, a répondu à l’invitation de l’AIDP et participé au dîner annuel de l’Association à l’occasion du Conseil de direction qui s’est réuni les 12 et 13 juin 2015.

Abd El Azim Wazir was born in Beni-Sweif, a city from which his father was a Senator in the 1930s and this is how our friendship was established many years later. His father had served in the senate with my Grandfather who was its President and they were good friends and that is the first thing he mentioned to me when we first met in 1981. From that day on we became close friends and it was my pleasure and privilege to have worked with him at the AIDP and at ISISC, where he made many valuable contributions. 

 AIDP  is deeply saddened to announce that Professor Dr. Otto Triffterer passed away on 1 June 2015.
Professor Triffterer was very much involved in the AIDP activities, especially  related to the area of international crimes. He was also one of the driving forces in setting up the Young Penalist branch. 

He will always be fondly remembered. Our condolences go to his family, especially his wife Maria and his two sons, Tobias and Daniel.

Le Président de l'AIDP John Vervaele donnera le mercredi 10 juin prochain une conférence à la Cour de Cassation Française sur l'application du principe ne bis in idem; pour info et inscription, voir information en cliquant ici. 

Lors de sa réunion du mois de décembre dernier, le Comité exécutif de l’Association a donné son accord pour participer au treizième Congrès pour la prévention du crime et la justice pénale, qui se tiendra à Doha (QATAR) du 12 au 19 avril 2015. A cette occasion, l’AIDP organisera trois réunions parallèles.

Comme chaque année, le Conseil de direction de l'AIDP se tiendra à Paris au mois de juin prochain. Les dates retenues sont celles des vendredi 12 et samedi 13 juin 2015 à la Cour de Cassation.
