Andrei Rădulescu" Legal Research Institute of the Romanian Academy, founding member and president of the Romanian Association of Criminal Sciences and of the Romanian National Group affiliated to the International Association of Penal Law, founder and director of the Criminal Law Review.

The Vice-President of the International Association of Penal Law, Eugenio Raúl Zaffaroni took oath on February 15th, 2016 as a judge at the Interamerican Court of Human Rights at the official opening  of the Interamerican judicial year in San José, Costa Rica.

The three recipients of the Vespasian V. Pella medal

In 1958, Benjamin B. Ferencz, prosecutor in the Nuremberg Military Trials, was awarded the Vespasian V. Pella Medal. in 2000, he selected Professor M. Cherif Bassiouni, Honorary President of the AIDP, as his successor. Ten years later, Professor Bassiouni handed over the medal to Professor William Schabas. All three met this February in West Palm Beach, FL, USA.
