Second edition of the "Dr. José Luis Díez Ripollés" International Award

The University of Malaga, in collaboration with the Criminal Law Department and the Malaga Section of the Andalusian Inter-University Institute of Criminology, has announced the second edition of the "Dr. José Luis Díez Ripollés" International Award. The aim of this competition is to encourage research in legal and social sciences; the best work on criminal law, criminology or criminal policy - disciplines on which Professor Díez-Ripollés based his academic career – will be awarded €3,000 and will be published by Tirant Lo Blanch.

Fortunately 2022 did come with much better perspectives for the most of us. We were able to meet again in person and could organise our first International Colloquium on Artificial Intelligence and Criminal Justice in relation to the general part (section I)  in Siracusa in September and thus produce the first set of resolutions.

Conclusion of the Tenth International AIDP Symposium for Young Penalists

The Tenth International AIDP Symposium for Young Penalists was held on 27-28 October 2022 at the Department of legal studies of the University of Bologna. Young researchers from more than 15 different countries discussed on current issues of criminal justice from the perspective of the protection of human rights.
